Trip Itinerary
Day 1:
Travel from Chennai to Cochin by Train/Fight
Day 2: Arrival in Cochin I Munnar (135km/4 hours)
After arriving in Cochin, drive to Munnar and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and local sightseeing till evening and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Munnar:
After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey - Alleppey (Backwaters) (180km)
Morning after breakfast, checkout from the hotel then, proceed to Alleppey and check into the houseboat. Description: Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodelled version of Kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bedrooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and have a delightful experience. Overnight stay in house boat.
Day 4: Alleppey – Cochin
Morning after breakfast, check out from the houseboat. Proceed to Cochin, Go for shopping then board the train for return journey.
